How to broadcast on ICEcast servers using SAM Broadcaster software.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Get SAM Broadcaster

2. Install and Start

Install the software and open it. Navigate to the desktop or layouts where you can see the "Encoders" window.

3. Select Plugin

Click the + button in the Encoders window to add a new encoder. Select "MP3 and mp3PRO" or the relevant ICEcast compatible plugin.

4. Converter Settings

In the Converter tab, set your desired bitrate and quality settings.

5. Server Details

Go to the Server Details tab. Select "IceCast" as the server type and enter your host, port, mount point, and password.

6. Finalize

Ensure "Save stream to file" is unselected in the Stream Archive tab. Click OK.

7. Connect

Select the new encoder in the Encoders window and click the Play (Connect) button.

8. You're Live!

If configured correctly, you can now start broadcasting using SAM's professional tools on your internet radio station!
